Welcome back to the Mindset Forge podcast. I'm your host, Bart Brian. It has been a minute. Holy mackerel. Yeah. I took a break, you know. A lot of you that are were listeners from back in the day, uh, you know that I kind of went a different direction. Started a podcast with my friend Mitch, uh Dad Bods and Dumbbells, who's got some really great content if you want to go check that out. Uh, but yeah, just uh looking at coming back to the mindset forge uh with uh kind of a renewed sense of purpose. I'm uh 51 years old now and I've got uh guess some new ideas, some new things that I want to do, but I also want to get back to interviewing some really amazing uh people, uh especially people uh in the sports and um space around performing arts and just really kind of dig into that again. I not just specifically like how to show up, but just mindset around uh leadership, performance, uh just being at the highest level. It's always been something I really enjoyed talking about. I love some of the great conversations I've had in the past and uh got a lot of feedback from you guys, listeners, uh just saying that you want more. So uh I'm back, I'm ready to do it. So this is kind of an intro, uh, welcome back episode. Uh I've got a couple of things kind of in the in the books here, work uh a couple of interviews coming up, a couple of uh solo cast topics that I think will be super valuable. I am gonna I kind of dip into my own life being 51, kind of going through uh you know that time where you know things are a little bit chat more challenging. I think the last time I was on here, I I didn't realize quite as uh as how challenging it is to be feeling like your body getting older and trying to like do everything I can to stay as healthy as I can and do things. And so as I'm training other people in their 50s and 60s, and um also now a 50 plus myself, just really uh in that space. And so uh I'll be drawing for some of that stuff for topics too, but uh really, really excited. So if you're listening to this and you're you're looking forward to having some uh great interviews coming uh soon, uh be excited too, man. This is gonna be great. Uh before I uh just uh wrap this up here in this quick little intro to hey, we're back, I did want to say one thing. Um just my one just the feeling that I have knowing that uh so many of you have been listening and supporting. Um you know, it's just it's awesome. So I just wanted to just say thank you for you know the the four years that I was doing the podcast before and just how that felt. Um just all the people that I was able to touch with the interviews and with the the podcast itself. Uh just means the world to me. And so as I get older, I just uh gratitude's important and I'm I'm feeling it, and I feel it for you guys that are listening out there, so keep doing it. Trust that I'm gonna bring some great quality stuff uh your way very shortly. Um I'm gonna kick it off. Uh the next episode that we'll drop will be a solo cast. Uh I'm gonna talk about recovery, because that's kind of been a big piece of like the last couple years, is you know, with cold plunges and saunas and red light therapy. There's just so much, there's so much out there, and I think it's it's a conversation that that I think should be had. Uh so that will be my first you know, next episode, and then I've got an interview coming up that we'll uh drop uh in a week or so. So anyway, that's it for now. Uh let's see. Um any tidbits here before to leave off. I I will say this is about to be NBA playoff season, so I'm personally super excited. Uh playoffs are always awesome. I am a Lakers fan, so because Luca and AR are out, it's gonna be probably a tough watch to see them try to try to play Houston, but it'll be what it is. Uh and you know, whatever. But uh it's gonna be some great basketball. So if you're a basketball fan, bam, um there's gonna be uh there's gonna be some good basketball coming up in the next couple months. Anyway, that's all I got. I'm gonna wrap it up here. Uh look forward to the next couple of episodes coming out and more to come. My goal is to do kind of a uh two episodes a month. I might I might do more at some point, but right now, just for like you know, getting back into it, I want to be able to deliver two really good episodes a month. I've got over a hundred episodes that you can always go back and dive into some of my interviews with uh Olympic gold medalists, NBA champions, uh Broadway singers, like all these different uh opera singers, people like that. There's so many great conversations, concepts, topics that we that I've uh touched base on over the course of the last four years. So go check that stuff out too if you haven't already. All right. Thanks for listening to the Mindset Forge Podcast.
